International
Association of Facilitators (IAF)
The IAF encourages and supports the formation of local groups
of facilitators to network and provide professional development
opportunities for their members. Regional groups from around
the world are invited to become affiliated with the IAF to help
promote the profession of facilitation as a critical set of
skills in the global society of the 21st century. The IAF has
grown since 1994 to over 1300 members in more than 62 countries. |

IAF Forum
The IAF Forum is up and running again. After a shaky start with several challenges and several different email servers it is now running in digest mode. There are 3 options for viewing posted messages online, daily digest, and weekly digest. Anyone can join and there are also members only topics. |

Methods Database
is a not-for-profit network of volunteers who use facilitation skills to serve their communities worldwide. GFSC is dedicated to helping volunteers. community groups and institutions address societal needs, resolve conflicts, and work collaboratively to strengthen and support their own communities. The GFSC Disaster & Crisis Intervention model helps volunteer facilitators and community leaders prepare or work through the rebuilding of lives and the life of a community in the aftermath of a disaster. GFSC encourages sharing of knowledge and experiences, offering materials, mentoring, training and support for communities and those who serve them.

community of practitioners based in Australia, New Zealand,
South-East Asia and the Pacific, who have been meeting since
1992. Our focus is on working, learning and sharing with each
